Okay yes you got my drift in that it's the channel that's the issue. Now that I know you have been out there before I am more at ease. Stranraer marina is your best all round just a bugger having to go full length ofLR. Yes your right about PL or any other village slip in that part includingPP. I have never been out there but as you can see Last Tango has a good few times.

Given both of us have spank new trailers we are worried about leaving them overnight not in a marina. Stranraer have already confirmed they can store the jeeps and trailers securely so that is half the battle sorted really. in fact my trailer is so new i don't have it yet!
