Very nice Codders it looks a big beast! Love the blue tubes combined with the teak deck and white jockeys, looks really classy, should be a treacle magnet

Looks good even though you haven't got it home yet! Knew it would turn up eventually, I believed you all along. And what's so wrong with Ibiza blue?! Surely it beats Alpine any day

i bet you are chuffed to bits that it is nearly finished after all this time. it looks very long and wide and i reckon mine would fit in the space in front of your console! will it be ok to tow? what is the distance internally between the toobs?. Lots of space so you could throw a party on there for all your mates

so the big question is what will you call it? must have a name in mind?

and when will we see a pic of captain fishy aboard the codship then?

Codders,

I would seriously question the way they have opened that sump up in the stern.

Looks like they have only opened up the deck and coated the end grain.

This will absorb water in no time and blow the whole deck!!

This should be boxed off and covered in GRP to stop any ingress of water into the plywood.

IMHO and from experience.

All a matter of taste - your boat looks pretty slick as well.

Deck is not real wood - only flexiteak - there will be a grp flange around I think.

I appreciate it is flexi teak but the main deck underneath will need to be well sealed. Just an observation from the picture thats all!!

Your boat is a fair old size as well - mine should look a bit better with some wear patches on.

I think the overall width is around 8' 10" or thereabouts - much wider and I would need a police escort!!!

Should be fun towing it behind the discovery - NOT - the mirrors are far smaller than my Landie ones.

As to the name - VERY sore point - was going to be Grand Slam - wooden spooon would be more like it this year!!!

one question on the flooring, how will you stop it fading, a lot of teak decking i have seen on the expensive large boats seems to fade which is a shame..

well i just went out to measure mine.......o er mrs.....and from rubbing strip to rubbing strip mine is 103 inchs or 8 ft 7 inchs overall width. maybe your toobs are a different diameter or something but yours looks lots wider unless it is an illusion cos your seats are narrower and console is narrower and toobs are smaller diameter.... i know my console is wide and the seat bases are lots bigger than ribcraft for example.

fun times ahead i think....

Yes it does look wider than other Prosports I have seen - will have to measure it - then we can argue - mine's wider than yours etc!!!

Boat looks fantastic Codders, if you are taking it cruising further West to Milford area in the future let me know, I'd love to see it in the flesh.
As for the name, if I was you I would be looking at possibilities such as:- "I told you so" or "What flavour sauce would you like with your hat" or "He who laughs last" or "Welshmen don't lie" or "Humble Pie" but my favourite would be "Jack Flash" or "Flash Jack" that should go down well in Swansea!!!
I Hope it all goes well for you I think you could be in for a great summer 2006.

Nice one - yes I WILL be cruising quite a bit down your way - got to be the 2nd best cruising area after the Scottish West Coast.

Good names there - in fact brilliant - then again I could always call it
"Oi Mush"!!!

if yours is 8 ft 10 then is no real issue towing to be honest, cos of the shape of ribs it does not really feel that much on the back so you will be fine i am sure. my bmw tows it fine so the landy will be more than ok mirror wise.

not sure i will be argueing whos is widest or longer etc will be just hoping it floats and skips along ok
