I found a lovely little Searider SR4 Deluxe

I've been looking for an SR4 Deluxe for a while and after searching for "the one", I've just acquired this little beauty.

Amazing condition for a 40+ year old boat; a testament to the previous owners who clearly cherished it.

I've only been out once but it performed brilliantly and I absolutely love it (the kids did too)!

Lovely.

It's so nice to see one with the original seating/dash/screen/bowdodger layout intact.

Great looking Searider. They look so good, classic along the lines of the Aquaramas.

Thanks for the kind comments :-D

I'm planning to keep it pretty much, as is, however I've just ordered a Simrad GO7 Chartplotter and a transducer as having charts and depths is pretty handy around the Devon/Cornwall coast and I'd like to go on some adventures further afield next season.

Plus it is fun to see the bottom contours and fish

My boy is a lot younger than your kids, but he absolutely loves to go boating. In our front yard he points at the boat and gets excited, but sadly we don't get to go out every day for him. So he goes and points at our bicycle, and we go for a ride most often. Kids love adventures!
