Help with fueling issue

New to the forum but hoping someone can help me with a re-fueling issue. This is my first RIB so really new to this whole concept having only go-fast boats before this ( 29 Scarab and a Wellcraft SCARAB III 340) and having a whole new animal to deal with.

I have been having issues trying to refuel the Pro Spring 6.5 I recently acquired and was hoping someone might know why it won't take fuel, it keeps spitting it back up the filler tube and takes forever to get a few gallons at a time in it

Had anyone else experienced this with their Zodiac?

No experience of that particular boat but the problem has got to be a restricted fuel tank breather. Restricted not blocked....otherwise your engine would be dying of fuel starvation..........unless the tank is managing to breathe down the filler when the filler is closed, which would be another problem...
Check that tank breather .....

Had this problem myself with campion sportsboat ,turned out i wasnt putting the fuel nozzle in far enough and as the breather was integral to the filler cap ,i was filling the breather hose as well as the tank pipe ,got a little in as i filled ,but then when the pressure built in the tank ,it came back like a geezer

Thanks for the quick response! Called the local dealer and he basically explained it that way too. The breather evidently is built into the filler.
