Finally !!!!!!

Who can guess what my new boat is? Take delivery tomorrow and cross the Channel to Jersey on Thursday morning. Any idea what the weather is going to be like? Rain does not bother me, but Force6 + does! Alan W and one or two others know already, so don't spoil it!

New Boat

Hi Charles

Looks like a Graham Jelly Scorpion Cabin Rib to me. Am I right. I know this because we had the yellow one a few years ago.

I'm sure that's a Fairline Targa 35 -- has Graham insisted that he won't take it as part exchange?

Actually I reckon it is a Scorpion cabin RIB. It looks like an early one (although I may be wrong) because the throttles appear to be awkwardly tucked away in a little cupboard!

I reckon it must be second hand because you mentioned a while back that you were discussing your requirements with the manufacturer. As that was only months, not years ago, theycan't possibly have built you a new boat

How many careful owners has it had? "Only used for shopping, never raced -- honest"

I confess, Julian and Pepper are correct. Yes one owner, a wealthy chap who owns the castle in the IOW overlooking Hurst Castle. Lovely chap, met the engineer who looks after the engines and they are immaculate - 170 hours only!

NOW, what about the weather on Thursday?

Nice one, Charles...

Good thing you've got all that cheap petrol on Jersey!

As for the weather, the sun will be shining on me on Thursday, according to the beeb:
