Had our family holidays there when I was a kid. Don't remember seeing you there. I was only 5 though and probably more interested in ice creams and sand castles than boats!

Since posting these images I’ve been told by Davybuoy that he isn’t in fact wearing a ‘daft’ hat, that the small blue denim hat, beard and mustard coloured shirt look, since popularized by the Brighton Gay community, was ‘all the rage’ in the 70’s, and also that Elton John was ‘very popular'.

Anyway,that hat and shirt could be bought out of mothballs but it would not fit my svelte (yes,that is how it is spelt) figure any more as they have both shrunk drastically in the wash !!
