shouldn't worry, Rogue Wave will be along shortly to put it back on the wheels, source a spare trailer and get him going again. What an outstanding chap, eh Colin!

Perhaps we should link the thread about trailer safety cables to this one - maybe this is another application of that wire that they haven't considered!

Doesn’t look like a Nissan Patrol to me!

Thanks for the picture, Phil. I was laughing so much that it was at least an hour before I could pick up the phone to instruct my Brief. I am looking forward to a nice couple of months in the Carribean on the proceeds of the impending libel action. Perhaps you might consider an out of court settlement?

Better be careful Phil as David Manning 'appears to talk sense'.

At a push I would be prepared to offer free B&B plus trailer parking for one person/boat combination in the Chelmsford area for an unlimited period.

Phil,
remember posting this some time back?
Any idea where the location actually was.?
Looks very much like my side of the World.
Could swear it's the main road up to Big Bear Lake in the San Bernadino mountains ,East of Los Angeles.

Towed my SIB up there once for a short vacation and quickly found out the effects of altitude on an inflatable. Luckily I stopped a couple of times on the way up to release the pressure. However on the way down, sort of forgot ;(until I saw a limp pile of Hypalon flapping about on the trailer.)
cheers Dal

Blimey, that's one from the archives! Sorry, don't know where it was taken in the States - it's actually from an insurance company's files!
