Hi I put together a system that bascially uses a dogcam 520 Line bullet camera and a suitable sony DV camera that I bought off ebay for about £150

I then bought a special switch that switches the sony on and off straight into record mode.

If you want the full details PM me and I will let you know how I put the whole lot together.
