Bristol Harbour

For the first run of the season I took TomKat out on Bristol Harbour to blow the cobwebs away.
Launched from Bristol Marina - excellent slip and parking (£5 up to 4m, £6.50 upto 10m - This includes all river licences etc) See-

So... Here's the slip

What a brilliant slipway! An excellent idea putting the pontoons alongisde - saves the wet feet! Can't understand why more slips don't offer this type of facility.

The boat looks great - I think we'll make a fantastic sight cruising down the Thames next week!

Are you coming alone - or bringing anyone with you? Will you be going along the M4 - I reckon we may come that way.

Jono - are you alone or with crew?

Also, Jono - what time will you have to leave home for a 9 am launch? I reckon we'll need to be hooked up and on the road by 0600 latest.

Hi Guys

Ill be on the road about 6am. If we leave it any later Nigel will not be able to make it (he can only get out of his marina 2 hours either side of hw - 9am to 1pm).

It should be me, the other half + one other.

What about you?

No groupies, by the sounds of it... I think they're afraid of water you know...

Jono

Looks like we will have a boat full. There will be Me and Sian, her 3 Kids and her Brother and his wife - who are desperate to get out on the water with us.

Guess one advantage of an early start is less traffic into London?
Have also posed a question on the Thames Cruise thread re actual slip to be used

Graeme
