Boating to the City and back

A Sunday afternoon mid-February, family trip between Chelsea and Melbourne CBD on a 3m inflatable Costco boat powered by 15hp 2 stroke Mercury. It took us 1hr 15min to get to Port Melbourne, however the whole trip including stops lasted around 7 hours covering 87km. Due to strong winds on the way back, the fuel consumption was approx 25lit for the whole trip. Good fun, will be repeated. Cheers !
