Beat ya to it Firthy

Morfa Nefyn Nov 29th.

The Jakkeens who made a sterling effort to drive up from the Solent for a day in the Welsh wavelets. Was it worth it? The grins say it all.

We arrived at Pwllheli to find a F8 gale with horizontal rain so we towed the boats the eight miles to the other side of the peninsular for a beach launch.

John and Adam out in a tornado.

Missis Jackeen helming Caprice. We were all very impressed with the smoothness of her driving in the chop compared to us 'bump and grind' merchants.

RNLI

Great pics DM, if you look closely you can see the RNLI speeding toward me as "MeMe" obviously looks like she's unable to cope with the varying viscosity and surface tension of our U.K waters. Thanks for a great day.

According to my "Scale Metre" it was near hurricane force, this was confirmed upon my return home when I found "skid marks" in my pants.

Hey Rogue, you know Jahno and the rest of the NW Ribsters well. When are you coming down for a trip out?
You will note we had a few southerners up this weekend, one from the south east couldn't be bothered, but hey, this made it even more fun.
And no comments on how far it is, I used to do the trip to Aberdeen every week for years so when are you coming? You'll get to meet us and see how close to the truth your comment is

Yes I understand that apart from that all you do is drink, Rib, eat and tork Bollix. Some of you even have your own boats, I understand? but they look like motorised deckchairs!

I'd be very happy to take up your kind offer whenever I cross the Border and come down South.

Och aye the noah

The only problem with that is you aint norff of the border, are you? You rogue.
Deck chair appearance only seen on med's. 'Proper' ribs have black long roundy seats that you can stand astride or sit on, whatever takes your fancy.
