Americas Cup world series

Managed to get a guest pass on one of the Team New Zealand support chase Ribs yesterday
Great day on the water in these monster Protector boats.
Not much of a chance to go fast (race restrictions )but had a blast !

So many other Ribs out in support as they had brought them in from all over the place (as well as the team ones they bring with them )
cheers Dal

We were fortunate in getting VIP tickets on the Team NZ chase boat when the Americas Cup was in Plymouth in September. Grant Dalton took my 3 children under his wing for an inspiring day. The Protector ribs are pretty awesome, as are the AC 45 cats. The ride on the AC 45 is a white knuckle one as a guest crew.

Nice!
Grant gave us the pre-race talk and had a great sense of humour with a bunch of us that wern't really sailors.
One of our group was lucky enough to be the sixth man, but nothing like you had with the conditions over there!
I watched the video's and it must have been crazy

Nice to spend a day , how the other half live

cheers Dal
