A Fishy Ribex

Whilst on snapping duty duty at the show I had a little experiment with my new 10.5 fisheye lens. I need more practice but it's a pretty useful piece of kit. Any comments welcomed.

Cheers

Ian

Being perfectly honest I have never really liked the effect of a fisheye lens. Then again a true fisheye is better than an ultra wide which pretends to be flat but has convergence!!!

Agree about using in small doses. I think the second and fourth are great shots.

Want one!

Thanks for the comments everyone, I agree that when used sparingly (& with a bit more skill!) the results are very good.

I will now wiz off one of them to Photobox to see what the results look like at 20" x 30" poster size.

Cheers

Ian
