Just gopt back to civilization from a long 10 days on the island and I got those photos which I hope that you find intersting.

The 1st is a photo of the famous RED BEACH taken just yesterday afternoon with wiond SSW force 7-8

Wow! Are sure you haven't been to Mars?!

Have you ever been to Alum Bay on the Isle of Wight - striped rocks of different colours, best viewed from the sea. In the shop at the top of the cliff you can buy glass trinkets with the coloured sands in.

Looks like Mars Louise doesn't it??

Haven't been to Alum Bay (although have been many times on and around the Isle of White). May be when I get back to the UK in a few weeks we can arrange a site seeing (weather permitting

)

And lastly a view from apartments of the Caldera. On the right you can see the volcano (just the end of it), on the left the island of Thirassia and at the end of the Caldera (North) OIA (pronounced ea). The distance from where I've taken the photo to the end of the Caldera is about 10+ miles.
