Wanted: Yamaha 40hp Gearbox

I have a mate looking for a 40hp (3 Cylinder) yamaha gearbox. Will find out engine age but I'm guessing 1986 ish. It's Longshaft.

I've got a 30hp 3 cylinder 2 stroke gearbox think its late 90s from memory th 30 and 40 are the same.

I thought it was the 40 & 50 that was the same. Will check part numbers and let you know.

I have one but cracked at the ring nut. Suitable to build into your case if its good.

Pretty sure you're right. Yammie 40V and 50G model were exactly the same. Just different carbs and exhaust manifold.

I may have found one. The case is broken on my mates one. How bad is the break at the castle nut??
