WANTED Double Bench Seat with Back

Hi Guys, new around here, I have just bought a Ribtec 535 and looking to install a double bench seat in the rear of the boat, ideally in blue glass with black seat covers but open minded to see whats around.

Can't wait to hear from you if you have what I looking for.

Toby

Can you take the weight of a double seat, weighing probably the same as a person, plus two people at the stern?

I have a bench seat for sale in the "bits and pieces" section. £50. If you got it recovered in black it would look pretty smart.

Hi Toby,

I've got the one I took out of my Scorpion sat in the garage.

GRP base, Plywood top upholstered in Grey vinyl and yellow piping. Stainless steel frame backrest with foam pad also upholstered in Vinyl.

Frame pivots forward to allow space to tilt up the engine.

Fitted canvass cover.

I'll get some dimensions and some photos this weekend if you might be interested.

Regards

Duncan

Afternoon All,

Just spoken with the OP, Toby, and it's too wide for his boat.

Up for grabs.

Hi Guys

Well I love the boat, and more inportantly so do my wife and kids, but I need more seats and to get it all done properly is going to be expensive.

So I am thinking of biting the bullet and just going for a new one.

The key word thoughout all of this is "thinking". anyway that's half the fun is it not?

But could you not find a proffesional to fit out your exsisting RIB. It would work out much cheaper and you will still have the custom seating you desire.

I'm sure Leeway or someone similar would love to quote you.

I noticed on my last visit to Ribcraft that they had an almost new swing back bench seat white gel/black upholstery. Think it was going for a lot less than new price. Looked very smart and top quality

That's for you to decide.
It wouldn't be the first time someone had spent £1000 on a bench seat.
Personally, I wouldn't add fuel to those sort of fires...
