Outboard Hunting Isn't Going Very Well
Afternoon chaps,
This is my first post, i'm currently on the hunt, for something with a bit more power.
7.5-10hp now i know these are like rocking horse manure, but i did'nt realise how much so.
I have quite a tight budget, so i'm not looking at anything new, but there does'nt seem to be anything around at all.
I've tried boats & outboars, apollduck, my local rag,freeads, pre-loved & Ebay.
I'm just posting on here on the off chance anyone else could help me?
It needs to be a 2S with a short shaft & tiller.
I have cash waiting for the right price, but i'm also considering a 15hp, as i gather 15hp 2S tend to be the same weight as the 10's?
Whilst also on the subject of outboards, where to look etc, my friend is also after a bigger engine.
He has a 2.4m Sib currently with a 7.5hp outboard on (boat says its rated to 5hp) what could he realisticially get away with 2S wise?
