Designed for dinghies & windsurfers. Ideal for use with cold or fumbling hands.

Each flare ejected to height of 80m burns for 6 seconds at 3,000 candela & visible up to 5 miles in daylight; 10 miles at night

Designed for use less than 7 miles from land.

Can contains: 2 red handflares; 2 orange handsmokes; 2 parachute red rockets in little watrproof tub

Day/night signal (Pains Wessex)

Personal survial signal incorporting a red flare at one end for night use & an orange smoke at the other end for daylight use. Flare burns for 20 seconds at 10,000 candela & dense orange smoke is produced for 18 seconds.

Both ends coded for night identification & fully waterproofed.
