London (charity) Dinghy Sail Club looking for outboard.

Would welcome offers from anyone looking to dispose/donate an outboard(40hp+) to a good cause:. A registered charity sailing club, we have a work boat as our saftey boat and a new rib but no outboard. We have very limited funds so please dont offer us new ones for sale. Thanks. Derek

Speak to someone regarding grants - lots out there for organisations like yours. They'll cough up for brand new

I don't think they come along free too often, however I know of an ex military 40hp long shaft for around £500-£600...

I don't think you can get a grant for secondhand stuff so when I have raised money before for these things we sold off old kit to raise the money.
