Heads Up - Boatworld Daily Deals

Just a quick heads up.

Throughout January Boatworld are having daily deals with up to 75% off.

Today’s deal is a Demon 2 towable for just £37.50. Just ordered one to replace our aging Airhead Slash II

Worth keeping a weather eye out just in case there’s something you don’t really need but just can’t resist.

Hi chipko, do you think it would be suitable for a couple small kids/light teenager behind a sib/20hp?

Absolutely Steve, the kids had loads of fun back in the day on towables, kneeboards, wakeboards etc behind our sibs with 20 horse motors.
The Demon/Airhead style toys are not that draggy so will be fine behind a sib. They’re also steerable and often the go to choice with our kids. Great fun.

Steve, not on a Demon but here’s No 1 son getting a soaking behind our old Zodiac/Suzuki 20 combo. Two up in the boat and still plenty of Ooomph!

Am sure that would be fine although personally I would go with the two person rated line.

https://boatworld.co.uk/boatworld-2-rider-tube-rope

Our favoured bridle is the Airhead cable jobbie with floating pulley. Less risk of fouling prop with the cable type.

Or go with the Boatworld rope copy as it’s still got the floating pulley and quick connect system.

I looked at the towable and despite having no need was super tempted at that price. Asked Mrs F if she would like to be towed behind to make room in the boat and now things are a bit tense.

The first thing Diane said when I showed her the towable was, "will I be able to go on it" - I then showed her chipko's video!

Really pleased with that chipko.

Any specific pressure or just "thumb" pressure?

Nice one Steve. Glad it’s all good.

The young’ uns will have some fun on that.

Can’t remember pressure, we just inflate until firm….ooer!

Some inflation info from Airhead here;

Steve, craigh…pretty sure you’ll have a whale of a time with the Demon 2

It’s pretty much a straight copy of the Airhead Slash 2 which we have, and the kids favourite as steerable to an extent. Great solo or two up.

Yep. My iPhone is blocking the site and even if I override the block the site doesn’t open at the moment
