A Frames

Are A Frames essential and if so what types are best suited to small RIBs e.g. I have a Ribcraft 4.8m and I am not sure whether to fit an A Frame or not and if I do, what type

I don't think they are essential but they do come in handy on a small RIB.

you can stick a couple of wwaterproof pots on them and it gives a bit of extra height (and therefore further range) to you HVF and Radar reflector. you can stick your NAV lights on it as weel

You can lean against it while having a pee overboard. Don't underestimate the importance of this, particularly when it's a bumpy sea.

Worth having.
Im going to have on mine, nav lights, vhf antena, gps antenna, radar reflector, spot lights, also gives you something to strap wakeboards and dry bags to.

If you are going to have one made I think the way Chris's bottle holders are in place is much better than the normal vertical type.
