Stramge Rib

Does anyone have any idea what make this rib is. The "tubes" are solid ??

It looks a serious bit of kit if not a little neglected and has been sitting in our club compound without moving for over two years.

Certainly something inboard. Don't know about the smoke though - as I said, the thing has not moved from that spot in two years let alone seen the water. By all accounts, the owner bought a bigger boat and "forgot" about this one. A great shame.

This is the fastest class of lifeboat in the RNLI fleet.

Introduced in:
2002

Length: 9m Range: 4 hours at full speed

Beam: 2.8m Crew: 3

Displacement: Construction:
3.5 tonnes approx Aluminium alloy hull. Closed cell foam collar.

Speed: 40 knots
