I ended up biting the bullet and going for the...

I ended up biting the bullet and going for the Blue Sea switch panel, one with mini circuit breakers instead of fuses. Was expensive but I'm sure it'll be worth every penny if I get a fault in bad...

Pitty you didn't ask me a little over a month ago, I've changes jobs and haven't the access to the things I once used to. I might have some suitable Stainless plate in the garage (about 1.5 mm thick)...

Blue sea sell a switch panel that has circuit breakers instead of fuses. They are more expensive, but worth it if they work. I must admit to never having fuse trouble at sea, but if one did...

So is anyone using the circuit breaker switches? This seems Ideal for a boat as there's no faffing about with fuses if an intermittent fault strikes.

Does any water get behind the dash and into the console with these switches Nick? They look very modular and where the housings clip together it looks like a possible water ingress point.
