Well that does make sense :cool: I wasn’t sure which way the ratio worked, I had assumed more prop revs = more speed. My boat has always been fast compared to others and this would explain it....

I would have thought that it will reduce drag :] when you are exhausting gas through the prop. this drag would be useful but not on this set up.
