Finally got round to fitting my recovered...
Finally got round to fitting my recovered backrests today onto my jockey console and bench seat cost me 50 quid which I think was money well spent. Thanks Nugent (Ed) for the fomex it's much better...

Okay!! I have decided to take Poly's, butty's, and nugents advice and do both.
Seal the seat to try and make it watertight and then also raise the witches hat up by 60 mm just incase water does...

If the seat cannot be sealed would the best...
If the seat cannot be sealed would the best option be to replace the witches hat with cable trunking to act as a snorkel then drill a couple of holes at floor level at the rear of the jockey console...
