alternatively it may be better to wait for the upgraded unit if its only two weeks away.

did not want to cut the console to fit it!

the installation is simple, just a half dozen wires, and hey presto!

yep, they are locked to the area you are in, bit like DVD's
so if you buy a US one, maps for the UK won't work and vice versa, so sadly you have to buy one from over here

but worth every penny!!!...

mine arrived yesterday, and by 6pm last evening...

mine arrived yesterday, and by 6pm last evening it was up and running! took about two hours to fit, very simple, and looks great.

try out will be this weekend.

go for the lowrance, both good bits of kit, but the lowrance have extras you can add later

also you may find the HDS 5 screen a bit small, the HDS 7 is better!
