Definitely, and it would make it more secure....
Definitely, and it would make it more secure. Plus the more weight you add will make the ride smoother. Still a RIB will blow the out perform a SIB.

Having driven my 14ft SIB next to a 16ft RIB, in heavy chop, I can say without a doubt there is a 80% difference in how they ride. For those kind of conditions a RIB is the only way to go.
