yes i know.. but the transom on the 5.4 and the 4.7 are the same.. so i guess it should be strong enough - since the 5.4 is ok with 90hp. i think it's just a matter of stability during high speeds.

I own a 4.7 wit a 65 Suzuki. had it since 98... it a great boat. turns really fine.. nice performance.. the deep v-hull is actually a bit too deep for my use. i have to carry a lot of weight (diving)...
