then again Cookee when you live 5 mins from a perfect slip onto the Thames at Windsor it is handy to be able to spend a sunny day on the River even though you cant get above a fast tickover.:)

You have got to look at what you intend to do...

You have got to look at what you intend to do with your boat. If its for family use i would go for the four stroke. i use my boat on the Thames local to me and a four stroke is better at low speed....
