Your engine will be compatible to fit a trim...
Your engine will be compatible to fit a trim gauge but you will need to fit a trim sender unit to your engine
This sits just inside the engine bracket but they were not supplied when new so...

I made a template to fit my rev counter, trim...
I made a template to fit my rev counter, trim gauge and switch for nav lights and got a friend who's a shopfitter to make it then sprayed and sealed it ,was a tight fit tho .Here's some pic's
