NEVER heard of an ISSUE with the waterpump's . They are BULLET PROOF and work well . My earlier post is your problem . cheers Barry

pull the powerhead off and check the water grommet on the adaptor plate . THIS IS A VERY COMMON problem on the earlier fourstroke engine's . Salt water attacks the seal were the water pumps up thru...
