I would agree that you do sit high when on that...
I would agree that you do sit high when on that seat. should be lowered by circa 60mm. This would bring you closer to sitting inside the boat rather than on it. However the 60mm grass matting worked...

Coastal pro compact seat
Attached are three bad quality photos of my seat. I have not yet tried it out ( The bueaty of small children) I mouned mine at a ht of 500mm. And am in the process of placing 60mm of rubber matting...
