Sorry, bloody iPad!
Bolted through the transom, sandwiching the hypalon, which will need to be glued to the transom.
My original plates turned to white powder so I had some made in stainless steel!

From memory, there's a glued flange either side...
From memory, there's a glued flange either side of the transom, (ie inboard and outboard) and originally there would have been shaped aluminium plates bolted through
