I swapped the connector from suzi to yam on a...

I swapped the connector from suzi to yam on a 1/4" hose when I moved from a 25 to a 55 hp.

With The 1/4" hose the 55 was starved at WOT so if you have no components yet I would go for 3/8 hose...
