I think the trick is to varnish the life out of it before fitting.

On the basis the boat won't live in the water all the time....it'll dry out even if it does get wet?=(mine has done on the sr's...

I have serious sr4 envy. These two sr projects are going to make two seriously good fun boats!

Black tubes are the way forward, with a truck, cradle, bow locker, etc etc :-)

I never change just the bearings..bearing and hub...

I never change just the bearings..bearing and hub all in one go..purchased all ready to go with bearing in the hub. Wheel off , hub nut off...pull hub off, drop in bin, wipe off old grease, work new...

Great stuff Chris...did a set today in ten minutes flat(hub and bearing) . Such a good feeling to hear nothing when you spin the wheels...
