All the Garmin cables are tinned and I use tinned cable for everything else.

Only wasted a few sheets of paper and a trip to the garage. No little yellow sheet in my box - can't find it on the web either. Doesn't matter though.

I'm using my old M401 flush mount...

Jon - how come the flush mount template provided in the manual for the M421 is completely wrong?! It’s the old version for the M401 and therefore fairly useless. :eh: The dimensions on the diagram...
