We all know Yamaha's are the best :D and why would would you want to match the G2 to a boat? the engine looks like a Baked Bean can.. go figure what the boat would look like if it were matched!

Very true indeed but at least if something is gonna go wrong potentially it could be picked up and dealt with Poly.
I wouldn't say that an annual service is unnecessary. I could not name any other...

Hmmm. I wouldn't wanna wait 3 or 5 years before its checked over, Preventative maintenance or at least an inspection possibly could have stopped this happening on any type of outboard. Small problems...
