Your welcome. I have considerable experience with capacitance sensors and they are very reliable and accurate. However, they cost quite a bit , but it may be cheaper than lifting the deck.

Yes, there is an alternative. They are called capacitance senders/gauges, as apposed to float/resistance.
Try a search for capactance fuel senders.
