Did they not also build the Toyota Hilux that Top Gear took to (nowhere near the actual) North Pole a couple of years back? That was a mean looking beast as well :)

I've ran AT2s on my Ranger pickup and really like them, just bought my third set while they are still available as I'll need new ones by next winter. Hardly noisier than a road tyre on the road, good...

They look as if they should be good in snow but not sure about off road - the old pattern were the best AT's I've seen, better than...

Yep

It must be pretty soft snow for any MT to "rip it down to tarmac" - unless they have studs fitted any tyres I have ever owned will just polish up a nice icy surface!

For an AT I would have the General Grabber AT2...

For an AT I would have the General Grabber AT2 every time though the BFG AT is also a favourite.

For an MT I like the old pattern BFG MT KM2 but these are no longer available, not tried the new...
