Anchor always rigged to trip. Check which way the anchor is lying... Ribs lie to wind not tide, but rope in water is tide driven, so rope may be under or to side of boat! Apply straighten the boat...

I use the buoy retrieval... Often called an Alderney ring ... Virtually essential in the kind of depths I anchor... Handballing even a small anchor and chain from 200ft is at best a serious back ache!
