Hi thanks for the reply. The trailer itself doesn't bounce its the unsupported transom making the engine nod and sets up a bounce in the boat on the trailer. The boat is now 40cm(ish) further...

Sorry should have been a bit clearer, it is the weight of the engine bouncing an unsupported transom that's my issue. The trailer tows sweet, its just that bouncy load.
