Thanks all. Just phoned local welders and asked if they could make up battery cables from welding cable and the guy had no idea what I was on about. Might have to be Machine Mart then...

I want to replace the old cables running from the battery to my 50hp Mariner 2 stroke, but I don't want to pay the £9 a metre my local chandlers want.

Can anyone recommend a cheaper...
