Close to tubes better for towing when turning as bridle less likely to foul on engine leg. Also better to be high to keep tow line out of water and bridle further away from prop. Just bear in mind...

Hi,
We pull ringos, knee and wakeboards with our sibs. Despite extra strain on transom we space the towing eyes high and wide for better towing.
