Yeah, exactly. I've picked up a 6" stainless one, but really it's a bit too long and my mount is aluminium which will make a nice battery in seawater :eek:

Does anyone know the technical description of the standard aerial mounts that vhf and gps aerials screw on to. All I can find is it being referred to as 1" 14 TPI.
