I would say that if it only does it with the lid...
I would say that if it only does it with the lid on then I would definitely check connections. Poss a trapped wire when the hood is on or also check ht leads as that engine they run very close to the...

I would check all your electrical connections...
I would check all your electrical connections under the hood including kill switch wiring and ht leads sounds as if there's a short somewhere.
