Thanks for this, will call Bill Brown in morning. Yamaha service department were of no help, , they couldn't find figures either !!!!!
Everyone says the engine is good, think Yamaha marine dept...

Torque figures for yamaha ME421STI

Yamaha web site have no info, has anyone please got any torque figures so I can make some comparisons.
(this is the 6 cycl, 240 hp)
