Thanks for all the comments, keep them coming. Looks like Osprey and Ribcraft have some very strong fans but no one yet to support XS.

Thanks Polwart, nothing that sinister with my choice (not set in stone). This 8.5m has the advantage of a small cabin in the console. I was not able to find anything smaller with a similar console.

Well, the one rib I find interesting is the ribcraft 850 cruiser. To be based in the Falmouth area and used for local fun days out and longer ones to the scillies.
