don't post much but i had two valiants a v450 and a dr 450
the 490 has more tube than deck so is not much bigger boat
the v450 had a 40 hp mariner two stroke
the dr450 had a 50 hp mercury two...

did two bulbs on my 52 plate its in the hand book yes you do have to take the car apart a bit will take about 1 hour to fit to bulbs
but you can do it your self :thumbs:

has it got a front anchor locker if so it leaking from that all later 2002/2003
have solas sealed hulls which don,t leak the front anchor lockers are open to allow water in to the hull

good on vailant just to replace but that in my book makes the hulls not worth
any mayor repairs i wonder...
