Yamaha 4hp 4st Jet Clean
Hi Panel,
Engine will only run with choke out.
Have removed the large jet in the float chamber (was coated in brown gunk)
There is a smaller jet above this larger one.
Do I just unscrew...

engine choice for Avon 310
Hi, I'm thinking of buying the largest engine for the Avon, it's rating plate states a max of 9.9hp (can't be sure as it's in a compound)
My thinking is, as it's an old'un the HP would have been for...

I had to launch and recover, the instructor talked through the various methods, which you have to do yourself.

Cost wise I would think it's a no brainer, with the cost of the hire and tools plus me...

Wanted Avon Thwart
My ar$e must be too big. Don't want the inflatable seat as need the space for the remote tank.
It's for an Avon 310 rib.
It's fibre glass and the size is 80cm long x 23cm wide.

I,ve never sprayed "flowcoat" Have only ever brushed it on where the finish wasn't too important.
Styrene is what I used to thin it with, up to 10%. In the end the finish wasn't too bad.

For the record this is what I did.
Cleaned the oil from spark plug.
Drained the carb.
Squirted about 3ml petrol into bore, leaving plug out.

4 stroke stored the wrong way.
Need some help. Bought a little boat today.
The outboard was stored at the sellers home.
Anyway it turns out that he put it in his boot the wrong way and oil has leaked out.
It's a Yamaha 4hp....

Bought mine from the Co that makes them, can't find any info...
