Tohatsu owner.

Get the Tohatsu, Jap build quality and reliability are well known. I replaced a Mariner 4 stroke with one and have never regretted it.

Does anyone know of a better braking system available for marine trailers.

Is it me, or are the units presently supplied barely fit for purpose with respect to corrosion resistance ?

Are the Suzuki and Tohatsu fuel line fittings the same, they look similar?

Local shop has the Suzuki lines but not Tohatsu.

Thanks, abc

Optimax 90 HP outboard.

I am thinking of putting one on a 5.6 m Avon for diving use.
Are they reliable and as fuel efficient as the blurb says?
Any opinions, good or bad, gratefully received.
